The Central Missouri Chapter of City Clerks and Finance Officers Association
was organized on February 17, 1983. The fifteen Charter Members attending that first meeting
were:

The first year we reached a total of 27 active members, representing
21 cities out of 17 counties, spanning as far north as Higbee and Vandalia,
as far south as Edgar Springs and Lebanon, as far west as Wheatland and Sedalia,
and as far east as New Haven.
2003 year marked the 20th anniversary of the Central Missouri Chapter of City Clerks
and Finance Officers Association. Kay Williams hosted the membership at a celebration
held in Versailles to mark the occasion, and several "old acquaintances" were invited
to help commemorate our history.
